These cable terminations are suitable to connecting ground cables to transformer bushing, outdoor line or various types of panels.

These cable terminations are suitable for PVC – XLPE – PE – EPR cables and cover a cross section of 50 to 1200 mm2. They are suitable for various types of armored, non-armored and lead cables. In addition, these cable terminations enjoy an unlimited lifetime.

Stress control:

The 72 kV cable has a very strong electric field, which, if not controlled, can cause a considerable damage to the cable and entirely destroy it. The electric field is much stronger at the end of the cable because the graphite coating of the cable is removed. Using the latest technology, stress control tubings manufactured by Pars Mafsal Asia Co. try to create a uniform electric field at two stages and transfer electrons escaping from the coating into the shield, without causing a damage to the cable or reducing the cable life.

Stress control tubings are the new generation of heat shrinkable stress control tubings, and their shell life has increased as opposed to their predecessors. This cable termination is installed in the same way as medium voltage heat shrinkable cables, and its installation needs no particular devices. However, it is recommended that an appropriate graphite remover be used to strip a cable.

  • The final length of cable terminations for voltages of 52-72 kV is considered to be 1,460 to 2,600 mm depending on the height above mean sea level and the required creepage distance.
