Project Description

These joints are used to connect three-core single-lead PILC cables to three-core XLPE cables. These joints are capable of connecting cables with different cross sections.

These joints are mostly used in city substations, repairing or constructing new posts.

  • With UV protection layer
  • With unlimited lifetime / energized as soon as it is installed on the cable

To order a cable with specific cross section and conductor type, you can act as follows at the time of selecting the code.

For instance:

A 185 mm2 three-core single-lead PILC aluminum cable joint to a 185 mm2 three-core XLPE aluminum cable with a voltage of 24kv PHJMS – 3324 – 185185 AL

Z = PILC cable cross section (mm2)
Y= (CU/ AL /BI) Type of ferrule
X = XLPE cables cross section (mm2)
