These joints are suitable to be installed on various types of three-stranded armored cables and connect two armored cables with the same size. This joint has metal case and has mechanical and electrical protections just like cable armor.

These joints are mostly used in electrical substations, cities or factories which do need protection against mechanical pressures applied from the environment or protection against rodents.
